Full Grooms
Conduct basic health check. Wash thoroughly with breed and coat type specific shampoo and conditioner. Blast out the coat and fully dry. Brush coat through. Clip Nails, Clean Ears, Trim/cut the coat to owners/breeds appropriate specification. De-shedding process on double or smooth coats. Sanitary areas clearing of excess hair.

Hand Stripping
For wired coat breeds Hand stripping mimics how a dog’s coat would be maintained in the wild and keeps the proper ‘breed look’ whilst maintaining a healthy coat and skin by removing dead hair. Which in turn stops follicles becoming clogged and irritated. It also maintains the rich colour, whilst providing the natural coats built in protection. The newly revealed guard coat will repel dirt and dust and will also have waterproof properties.
Therapeutic Mud Treatments
Relaxing treatments that rejuvenate your dog’s skin and coat with a unique blend of natural ingredients including Dead Sea Salts, Organic Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Omega Oils and Witch Hazel. De-Shedding Mud removes loose fur, rejuvenates and hydrates the coat. It also improves volume and shine. Alternatively, our Soothing Mud eases irritation, soothes sensitive skin and softens and hydrates the coat.
Puppy Packages
Bring your newest family member in for a grooming familiarisation and gentle introduction to our services. Offering three separate visits to get used to the sights, smells and sounds they will encounter in a calm nurturing way. Set your dog up to be a calm client with gentle positive introductions, lead by them, at their pace.
Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning
Advanced care to maintain your dog’s oral hygiene, reducing plaque and improving overall health. This non invasive ultrasonic technology provides a deep clean that can reach even the tightest spaces between the teeth, far beyond manual brushing. Just 3 miles south of Comrie, Perthshire look for the red phone box at the crossroads, then you’ll see the blue cottage/ big garage just 20metres uphill with our flag flying proud! Wild Bones, is owned and operated by Tara Fraser who is a qualified Dog Groomer through City and Guilds and is fully insured.
As the name might suggest we are a bit different to conventional salons here at Wild Bones, so don’t expect pink, glitter, and pampering treatments and definitely no designer perfumes are used. Do expect a natural, cleansing and therapeutic treatment for your dear dog, in a calm and safe environment. There is a secure garden for quick stretches and comfort breaks.
Following some life affirming changes in the last year, I decided to follow a long-held ambition of working with dogs. Drawing on years of varied environmental project management experience, I wish to combine my love of nature, dogs and this place, all into a thriving local business. So I’m starting with Wild Bones Dog Grooming. Following intensive training at an academy in Stirling, and after building my home studio, I am so excited to open my doors this spring. I cannot wait to meet you and your dog and get their tails wagging after a great experience up the hill.
I do love a challenge, so if you have nervous, older or special needs dogs then I can work with you and your dog to find the right solutions. If you want an out of the ordinary style for your dog, I’m also happy to get creative to meet your requirements. Mohawks on a cockapoo, or lion cuts on doodles, lets give it a go.
